Christine Jesson (Founder / Director)

Christine (BSc (hons) and MSc) has worked in research and development throughout her professional career. Her experience stems from developing a novel biodiesel and proteinaceous animal feed; analysis and depolymerisation of novel polysaccharides from micro-algae; involvement in the process optimisation and scale up of chitin extraction from waste shellfish; and the administrative duties of a  seaweed processing startup company.

Christine has combined her experience from working in startup companies with her scientific background and love of nature and gardening to create Terrafirmat with the intention of developing sustainable soil solutions for the future.
